Initiatives presenting Milan’s Universal Exposition were a great success at the Matka 2015 tourism fair in Helsinki, which ran from 15 to 18 January and is the largest travel industry event in Northern Europe. The EXPO stand, in the Italian exhibition area, attracted record numbers of visitors.
The Italian Ambassador in Helsinki, Giorgio Visetti, also hosted a presentation organised jointly with EXPO. Our Embassy illustrated “EXPO Business Matching”, the fruit of a collaboration by EXPO Milano, the Farnesina, the Ministry for Economic Development, the Ministry for Agricultural Policies, Milan Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Trade Agency-ICE.
