Uto Ughi, the famous Italian violinist, will be performing in Caracas on 6 February 2015 with the Simon Bolivar Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Diego Matheuz. The concert was organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Caracas to commemorate Claudio Abbado, who died one year ago. Ughi will also give 2 master-classes for young musicians, and on 10 February will attend a screening of the documentary “Uto Ughi: una vita in musica”. The events are part of the “Year of Italy in Latin America” programme.
