The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) has opened a new branch in Chongqing, a city that is one of the country’s main industrial centres and which will soon have a direct air link with Rome. The CCIC also has branches in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. At the opening event, the Italian Ambassador to Beijing, Alberto Bradanini, underscored the role that the new “System Italy” office will play as a meeting point for Italian business people in Chongqing and the local economic and financial community. The aim is to foster bilateral trade and investment, to mutual benefit.
