UAE: ANCE mission for construction sector opportunities

A mission by the National Construction Association (ANCE) coordinated by the Dubai Agenzia ICE and the Embassy of Italy in Abu Dhabi took place in the United Arab Emirates. A total of 55 firms, in addition to SACE and Itayl’s main banking institutions, took part in the mission, the theme of which was the UAE construction sector which, thanks to the EXPO 2020 effect, is enjoying a robust recovery. The mission’s objective was to explore possibilities to participate in calls for tenders and subcontracts for large-scale building and infrastructure projects already planned or about to be launched by the UAE, as well as to attract capital to significant projects in Italy. Important appointments included the business forum hosted by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce on the theme “Italy-Abu Dhabi: Opportunities in the Construction Sector”, and a series of meetings in Dubai that highlighted the full recovery of the country’s construction market.
