Riccardo Muti was given a standing ovation yesterday evening in Abu Dhabi after conducting a performance of Beethoven featuring violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter and the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra, which he founded and is made up of young Italians under 30. This was the first time in the Persian Gulf for the Neapolitan maestro who, as guest of the 12th edition of the Festival, was presented with the Abu Dhabi Award. Read more, in Italian
