Autumn 2015 will see the first edition of the Festival of Italian Song in La Plata, an event that will run from 7 to 8 October at the Teatro Coliseo Podestá. The official presentation was attended by festival coordinator Nicolás Moretti; the Italian Consul General, Iacopo Foti; the Director General of Entidades y Colectividades, Mauricio Castro; and municipal councillor Gabriel Bruera. Supporters include the Municipalidad de La Plata, the Consulate General of Italy in La Plata, the Italian Embassy, the Italian Cultural Institute in Buenos Aires and ENIT, the national tourism body.
