Beijing – New “Reggio Children” Italian school

Beijing gets its first Italian school thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Embassy of Italy in China and Reggio Children, a centre for the promotion of the rights and potential of children founded in 1994. Attending the presentation of the project at the diplomatic mission were Ambassador Alberto Bradanini and President of Reggio Children Carla Rinaldi. The new school will be active as from September and has already received over 25 applicants for the upcoming academic year. Applications are being taken for pre-school and first grade children between the ages of 3 and 7 years. The school uses the “learning by doing” teaching method, the President explained.
