Peru – Three Italian musicians performing with the National Symphony Orchestra

A special musical project organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima, in collaboration with the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, is now under way. Three Italian guests will be performing with Peru’s National Symphony Orchestra during is 2015 season. The first event, on 6 March, sees conductor Matteo Pagliari lead the orchestra at the Gran Teatro Nacional. This will be followed by performances by Gabriele Cassone as trumpet soloist with the orchestra on 10 April and in a chamber performance on 15 April. And in September 2015 pianist Alessio Bax will close the orchestra’s “Italian season”, which is one of the initiatives organised for the “Year of Italy in Latin America”. Read more, in Italian.
