It was 1963 when Federico Fellini made his autobiographic masterpiece “8 ½”, portrait of a director rethinking his life and the meaning of existence, in which dreams and nightmares mix with an equally surreal reality. A newly restored version of the film, considered one of the greatest pieces of cinema of all time, will be shown at the Umberto Agnelli Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo on Friday 13 March at 18:00.
