“Le lingue per lo Strega” is a travelogue of the Italian language through the languages of the world, and is the title of a collection of translations in various languages of the openings of the 12 finalists for the 2014 Strega Prize for best novel. The idea came out of a collaboration between BooksinItaly, the Farnesina’s Directorate General for Country Promotion and the Strega Prize, with the support of Italian embassies, consulates and cultural institutes around the world.
