The Italian Cultural Institute of Lisbon hosted the presentation of the book “Os Noivos”, the translation in Portuguese of Alessandro Manzoni’s celebrated novel “I Promessi Sposi”. The translation by acclaimed translator Jose’ Colaco Barreiros was published by Paulinas Editora and part of a collection coordinated by Jose’ Tolentino Mendonca, and was made possible thanks to a contribution from the Farnesina.
