The Farnesina is hosting the 5th edition of IBAC Italy, and event organised by the MIUR, MiSE and ICE-Agenzia to promote the attraction of investments in Italy.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Paolo Gentiloni and Minister for Education, Universities and Research Stefania Giannini and Minister for Economic Development Federica Guidi opened the first day’s sessions.
Knowledge, development and innovation
This year’s edition is dedicated to the themes of knowledge, development and innovation. Participants in the event include Ministers Giannini and Guidi as well as the president of IBAC – International Business Advisory Council, an association made up of executives from some of the principal global multinationals – Sir Martin Sorrell.
The second day’s sessions were opened by Deputy Secretary General of the Farnesina Antonio Bernardini and Minister Giannini and Deputy Minister for Economic Development Carlo Calenda will deliver the closing addresses. Guests will include approximately 70 CEOs from major multinationals.
