Argentina – Discussing the “Geophilosophy of Cinema”

“Geophilosophy of Cinema” is the title of an international conference – the first of its kind – to be held in Buenos Aires from 10 to 13 June. The event has been organised by the University of Calabria, the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA) and the European Union National Institutes for Culture (ENIC) in collaboration with the Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires and the Italian Cultural Institute of Buenos Aires. The event’s promoter is the Italian cinema magazine “Fata Morgana”. The goal of the conference is to examine the various threads of philosophical thinking on cinema by crossing European and American perspectives in a dialogue between authors from both continents.
