The “Young Entrepreneurs” branch of Italian business organisation Confindustria is establishing increasingly strong links with Israel, with its strong industrial and creative expertise, especially in the hi-tech sector. Twenty-five of Confindustria’s young industrialists took part in a 5-day mission, from 26 June to 1 July 2015, to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa. The delegation was led by the president of the association, Marco Gay, and the Deputy President for innovation and internationalisation, Giacomo Gellini.
The mission closed with a meeting with the Italian Jewish community in Jerusalem, in the presence of Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni (on an official visit to Israel) and Education Minister Stefania Giannini.
