The residence of the Italian Ambassador in Ottawa, Gian Lorenzo Cornado, provided a wonderful setting for the 20th edition of the “Opera Lyra” concert. Young singers from the Young Artist programme – Sean Clark, Benjamin Covey and Sasha Djihanian – performed in the residence garden accompanied by Jean Desmarais on piano.
“Opera is a form of art to which Italy has made a huge contribution and this Embassy is delighted, with this event, to be an integral part of Ottawa’s cultural community”, commented Ambassador Cornado.
