Peru – Italian archaeologists and intellectuals in the spotlight

“Archeologi e intellettuali italiani in Peru” is the title of a book published by the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima and presented by Antonio Aimi at the 20th international Book Fair in the Peruvian capital. It features an analysis of the work of Italian travellers, intellectuals and religious who left their mark on the history of Peru, with the focus on archaeology. The presentation was organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with the Italian-Peruvian Fund and the Peruvian Chamber of Books. Other Italian authors featured at the fair, which runs until 2 August 2015, include Emidio Clementi and Walter Risso. Read more, in Italian.
