Italy will be taking part in the 4th “Escena Vocal” international festival running in Montevideo from 31 July to 7 August 2015. On 1 August, the Sala Verdi will host an evening dedicated to Gioacchino Rossini, under the artistic direction of Maria Julia Caamano and entitled “Pecados de vejez: una noche en lo de Rossini”. Co-organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Montevideo, the event is part of the Year of Italy in Latin America programme. Read more, in Italian.
