Brazil – Film and food, featuring Italy and its pasta

The 6th edition of “Slow Filme – Festival internacional de cinema, alimentacao e cultura local” will take place from 10 to 13 September 2015 at the Cine Pireneus in Pirenopolis, a town near Brasilia in the state of Goias. This year, the festival will enjoy the support of the Italian Embassy in Brasilia and pasta producers Barilla.

The Italian contribution to the Festival will include 3 short films by director Vittorio De Seta: “Le tempu di li pisci spata”, “Parabola d’oro” and “Un giorno in Barbagia”. The event will also feature a lecture on the history of pasta by Paulo Turziani, with a free tasting sponsored by Barilla. Read more, in Italian
