Mission to Brasilia – Sports as a vehicle for building global citizens

As part of the events associated with the Year of Italy in Latin America, a delegation from the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) are on a mission this week to Brasilia, organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Brasilia and the Consulates General of Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The purpose of the Mission is to make direct contact with the local public and private schools that will be working with Italian academic institutions on the theme of sports as a vehicle for building global citizens ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games.
