The European Day of Languages was held at the Hermitage state museum’s Glavny Stab. The event was organised by the delegation of the European Union in Russia in collaboration with the museum and the institutes and cultural centres in St. Petersburg. Participants included Italy, Holland, Cyprus, France, Portugal, Hungary, Poland Croatia, Sweden, Estonia, Czech Republic, Finland and Denmark. The encounter offered an opportunity to discuss “Life in the digital era”, a project on which the EU delegation has been working with Russian universities and in which Russian and European scholars participate.
