Ottawa – Italian opera with Rossini and Carnevale Romano

In the course of the 15th Italian Language Week, the National Arts Centre of Ottawa hosted a performance of Rossini’s “Barber of Seville”, performed by the local “Opera Lyra” Company conducted by Giuseppe Pietraroia under the direction of Dennis Garnhum. The same centre also hosted the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra’s season opening concert entitled “Carnevale Romano”. A reception at the embassy followed the concert. Read more, in Italian.
