Mariano Fortuny, painter, fashion designer, set designer and designer in general: in a word, artist. Spanish-born, but naturalised Italian, Fortuny is celebrated in an exhibition opening at Stockholm’s Hallwylska museum today and that runs through 10 January. The exhibition has been organised by the same museum in collaboration with the Fortuny museum of Venice, the Traje Museum of Madrid, the Italian Embassy and Italian Cultural Institute of Stockholm and the Royal Embassy of Spain.
