Cape Town – Benefit regatta labeled Italy

A benefit regatta – the Italian Ambassador’s Perennial Trophy – organised for the third year running by Italian ambassador to Pretoria Vincenzo Schioppa, drew ambassadors and consuls, sport stars, businesspersons, sailing enthusiasts and the young people of the Izivunguvungu Foundation. The Foundation’s aim is to teach under-privileged youth the values of friendship, equality and sportsmanship, offering courses in sailing, boat building and navigation, as well as in music, literature and recycling.
