The Malta Book Festival, running from tomorrow through 8 November at the historic and monumental ancient Infirmary of the Knights of Malta – today’s Mediterranean Conference Centre – is the most prominent local publishing event. This year’s edition will feature 15 Sicilian publishing houses and their latest offerings, with book launchings in the presence of their authors, all to the live accompaniment of traditional Sicilian music.
