Contemporary Italian cinema comes to Los Angeles for Afi Fest 2015, presented by Audi and Cinema Italian Style 2015, promoted by Luce Cinecittà with American Cinematheque with the patronage of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles and the support of the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities. The event has been organised in cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles. Andy Garcia and Martha De Laurentiis will be on hand Thursday for the official launch in Hollywood of “Non essere cattivo” – nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film – along with a group of Italian directors and actors in Los Angeles to cut the ribbon to the red carpet for this extraordinary event, along with Oscar-winner Paolo Sorrentino.
Wednesday evening will be dedicated to “The Music of Cinema: A conversation with Paolo Sorrentino and Michael Caine”.Read more, in Italian.
