ENEL Green Power intends to invest 250 million dollars in Mexico for the construction of the “Energia Limpa” wind park in Paolo Alto. The announcement came from ENEL GP general director Nicola Melchiotti during a press conference for the opening of the 13th edition of ”Cumbre de Negocios” of Guadalajara, Mexico’s principal business forum. This new investment by ENEL will create 500 jobs and involves the construction of a plant consisting of 43 wind turbines with an installed capacity of 129 mega-watts, which, once it becomes operative, will be able to provide over 350 giga-watts annually to various companies located in Jalisco.
