Oslo – New music for an ancient instrument: Italo-Nordic projects stops in Norway

Four young Nordic composers directed by Italian musician Marco Fusi are poised to enchant Norway with a concert evoking the sounds of other times. “New music for an ancient instrument” features the almost-extinct “viola d’amore”, and has been organised by Ny Musikk e Nasjonalmuseet in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Oslo. It is scheduled to take place on 22 November at 15:00 at the National Gallery of Oslo, and at 19:00 at the Helleviktangen in the town of Nesodden. Read more, in Italian.
