The efforts of the Italo-Brazilian bilateral work group on investments are proceeding rapidly. After an initial 3 December meeting on energy, a second meeting held on the 16th was dedicated this time to analysing investment opportunities in Brazil for Italian firms in the sector of motorways and airports. The group was set up within the framework of a Protocol of Understanding on investments signed by foreign minister Paolo Gentiloni and the head of Brazilian economic planning Nelson Barbosa during a visit by Gentiloni to Brasilia on 5 November.
