Italy-Mexico – Striving for more cooperation

Italy and Mexico are working together to strengthen bilateral cooperation on various fronts. To that end, our ambassador in Mexico City, Alessandro Busacca, was recently received by the president of the Mexican Senate Roberto Gil Zuarth for a meeting on principal bilateral concerns and the reinforcement of the two countries’ strategic collaboration. The ambassador also met with the secretary for public security of the federal district Hiram Almeida Estrada to discuss security, business and Italian institutions and possible forms of exchanges of experiences in countering and preventing crime.
