Italy will stage an all-round programme of events focused on cultural, political and economic themes in Turkey in 2016. The programme, entitled “Italian Horizons for 2016” will be presented to the press on Jan. 19 at the Italian Embassy in Ankara. The Italian Embassy, together with other Italian institutions operating in Turkey, will offer local visitors and resident members of the Italian community a wide range of cultural, political and economic initiatives aimed at promoting closer relations between the two countries.
The presentation ceremony will be introduced by Luigi Mattiolo, the Italian Embassador to Turkey, and will offer an opportunity to announce the piano concert by Stefano Bollani, to be performed later that evening in the auditorium of Ankara’s Metu University.
