“Caravaggio”, by Angelo Longoni, will be screened from January 15 to 19 at Moscow’s Pushkin Museum. The film, an intense and suggestive portrait depicting the bright and dark sides of a genius, is the grand finale of the exhibition “Caravaggio, his Precursors and Followers”, which is on show until January 10. The screening, organised by the Pushkin Museum, the Nice Festival and Rai Movie in partnership with Moscow’s Cinema Museum and the Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow, crowns the Russian exhibition displaying a selection of paintings kept at the Roberto Longhi Foundation in Florence.
