An exhibition called “Italy of the Future” was opened at the Bicentennial Cultural Center of Santiago del Estero, Argentina. It was organised by the Foreign Ministry and the National Research Council (CNR), the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) and the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa (SSUP). The aim of the exhibition is to present Italy’s scientific excellence in robotics, particle physics, health, high-tech in transports and the protection of archaeological and cultural heritage. The exhibition runs until April 30, is sponsored by the government of the Province of Santiago del Estero and is part of the programme of events for the Year of Italy in Latin America.
“Italy of the Future”
The itinerary of the exhibition displays technologies and projects pioneered by Italy and runs through areas or islands, each one of which is dedicated to a specific theme. This itinerant exhibition, which will run both in Argentina and in the rest of the Latin American continent, is aimed at highlighting Italy’s breakthrough innovations at international level which illustrate the dynamism, ability and innovativeness of a country that has a millennium-long cultural history now projecting into the future.
