Ankara – Italian Week opens with shows, films and food

Italian excellence showcased in Ankara: as of next Monday the Next Level shopping mall in Ankara will be hosting an Italian Week, with a calendar packed with events, including concerts, exhibitions, shows, films, tastings and Italian cooking lessons, fashion events, Italian language and culture courses and children’s activities. The aim of the event is to create a totally Italian atmosphere, while marking the 70th anniversary of the Italian Republic, by showcasing examples of Italian culture and of the Italian lifestyle.

It will start with the exhibition “Venice on my Canvas” by Turkish painter and journalist Cagatay Gokman, to be opened by Italian Ambassador Luigi Mattiolo. Guests will also have an opportunity to see some of the newest models of cars and motorbikes, representative of Made in Italy design and technology. Visitors will then attend “CineGuardiani”, a presentation of the 2016 Spring/Summer Collection of the famous Alberto Guardiani fashion brand.
