Munich – Music by Gioachino Rossini in the “Long night at the Consulates”

The Italian Cultural Institute in Munich has scheduled at 7 p.m., on Thursday, 7 July, the concert “Gioachino Rossini, Overtures” as part of the “Long night at the Consulates”. The concert will be performed at Munich’s Antikensammlungen by to soloists of the Teatro La Fenice of Venice: Andrea Romani (flute), Rossana Calvi (oboe), Simone Simonelli (clarinet), Konstantin Becker (horn), Roberto Giaccaglia (fagot).

The concert was promoted by the Italian Consulate General in Munich. The pieces on programme are taken from La gazza ladra, Il signor Bruschino, The Barber of Seville, L’italiana in Algeri (The Italian Girl in Algiers), Tancredi and Semiramide.
