The Lithuanian Theatre, Music and Film Museum in Vilnius will host an exhibition on Tonino Guerra entitled “La bellezza e’ gia’ una preghiera” (“Beauty is Already a Prayer”). The exhibition will be open till Sep. 30 and will feature watercolours, illustrations, hand-printed ancient tapestries, and works on other supports. Footage on Guerra’s life will also be screened. A poet, screenwriter and writer born in Italy’s Romagna Region, Guerra cooperated with renowned Italian artists, including Federico Fellini and Michelangelo Antonioni, throughout his lengthy career. At the same time, he successfully dedicated himself to art, especially painting, sculpting, and artistic design. His works have been displayed both in Italy and abroad.
