Oil&gas, construction firms, facility management and agro-food businesses from Emilia-Romagna are ready to do business in Africa. A business mission, coordinated by Legacoop Emilia-Romagna in cooperation with the Region, is visiting Mozambique and South Africa. The mission which will end on 23 July is part of an integrated internationalization programme that Emilia-Romagna has promoted within the framework of its new 2016-2020 Go Global Plan. The work programme begins in Maputo, with greetings by Ambassador Roberto Vellano, at Spazio Italia, where a workshop presenting the project and the delegation will take place in the presence of institutional representatives and local businessmen. This will be followed by b2b meetings with the local companies. The highlight of the mission are the meetings in the north of the Country on the premises of a future facility for mining and extraction of natural gas. A part of the delegation, consisting of Coop Italian Food, Sicrea Group and Coopservice, instead will continue the visit to Johannesburg and Pretoria, where a number of meetings have been scheduled in cooperation with the Italian Embassy and the African Financial Group – an investment and financial services group.
