The Italian Consulate General and Italian Cultural Institute in Cologne invite Italians and the general public to visit their building during Germany’s “Day of the Open Monument” (Heritage Day). It is a unique chance for people to delve into the past and discover an architectural work of singular beauty. The building that hosts the Consulate General and Cultural Institute was built in the 1950s by German architect Hanns Koerfer in the style of Italian Rationalism.
