Argentina – Italian cinema is back in Bariloche

San Carlos de Bariloche will host the eighth edition of  “La straordinaria varieta’ del cinema italiano” (The Extraordinary Variety of Italian Cinema) a series of film screenings running from 15 September to 27 October. All the films featured in the programme will be subtitled in Spanish. The event was organised by the “Nueva Italia” bariloche-based association with the support of the Italian Consulate General in Bahia Blanca,
The programme will kick off with Massimiliano Bruno’s “Nessuno mi può giudicare”, followed by Andrea Segre’s “Io sono lì”, Matteo Garrone’s “Reality”, Giuseppe Tornatore’s ” La migliore offerta”, and Ettore Scola’s ” Che strano chiamarsi Federico”. Scola’s “C’eravamo tanto amati” will close the review, which has become a regular event in Bariloche and that has never failed to attract large audiences, so much so that its organisers expect it to be even more popular this year. Cinema is one of the most effective means to draw  cultures and countries closer and in this case will also remind the many Argentinians of Italian descent of their Italian origin.
