China Industrial Bank is promoting investments in Italy. The Italian Embassy in Beijing hosted an event during which the Chinese banking group and Italian institutions in the country presented Chinese investors with opportunities in the tourism and culture sectors and for business in general. It was also an occasion to present “Global Life”, a channel dedicated to foreign investment services which will offer assistance to Chinese investors.
Italy’s Ambassador to China, Ettore Sequi, said during the opening remarks: “I believe that if we do our job well, then we will be able to reap the rewards of the ‘Road to Fifty’, which Italy and China are travelling down together towards 2020 goals. There are many areas for collaboration on this path.” The Vice Chairman of China Industrial Bank, Chen Jinguang, said: “We are committed to offer services to clients who wish to internationalise their lives. Demands multiply – clients want to have the tools to diversify investments abroad.”
