The “Fish out of Water” exhibition by Angela Barusi, hosted at the Italian Cultural Institute in Barcelona (Ptge. Méndez Vigo, 5), will run until 11 October. The exhibition was opened on Tuesday, 20 September, at the presence of a very attentive audience. “I have to admit it: the audience was very attentive! It was great to be surrounded by friends! Thanks to everybody,” wrote the artist in Spanish on Facebook. The opening was attended by Italian Consul General in Barcelona, Stefano Nicoletti. The exhibition displays a number of Barusi’s watercolours. A trained museologist, Ms Barusi promotes Italy’s agro-food heritage through the communications, strategy and marketing agency “Forma Libera”, which she owns and operates both in Italy and Spain. Ms Barusi has always held close relations with the world of art, drawing inspiration from artists Joan Hernández Pijoan, Antoni Tàpies, Carlo Mattioli and William Congdon, who have had a deep impact on her way of “perceiving art”.
