The Italian Cultural Institute in Dublin will present the third volume of the Italian translation of James Joyce’s ‘Finnegan’s Wake’ on Friday. A representative of Edizioni Mondadori will introduce the work, to be followed by a conversation in Italian on the theme of untranslatability.
The event will be attended by Enrico Terrinoni and Fabio Pedone, the translators and editors of the work, together with journalist Edoardo Camurri (Radio 3 and Rai 3). The conversation will continue in English with John McCourt and Declan Kilberd.
