The event was promoted by the Italian Embassy in Tbilisi together with the State Ministry of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, the EU Delegation in Tbilisi, the Institute for European Studies of Tbilisi State University, and the NATO and EU Information Center. The Georgian Minister, the Italian Ambassador, the EU Ambassador, and the Dean of the University of Tbilisi all addressed the audience at the opening ceremony of the “Ever closer Union” exhibition.
This was followed by two discussion sessions: one on the future of the Union and the other on the EU-Georgia DCFTA. The ceremony ended with the distribution of Master’s degrees to the students of the Institute for European Studies of the TSU.
