The Italian Embassy in Beijing, in conjunction with the Association of Young Italians in China (AGIC), will host an aperitif designed to bring together young Europeans. Members of AGIC as well as of other European associations in Beijing, European students enrolled in Beijing universities, trainees at the Embassies of European countries and the Ambassadors of EU member states and of the European Delegation will be attending the event.
The Italian Ambassador and the head of the EU Delegation will open the event during which the young guests will be invited to take the floor to talk about their experiences, feelings and personal opinions about Europe as it was yesterday, as it is today and their vision about its future. A video will be made of their speeches to mark the event. The Italian Embassy will post it on Italian and Chinese social platforms.
The Italian Ambassador’s residence will also host the panels of the exhibition “Ever closer Union: the legacy of the Treaties of Rome for the future of the EU”.
