Serbia – ‘Concerti in Galleria’ cycle of concerts back in Belgrade

The cycle of ‘Concerts in the Gallery’ has made its comeback in Belgrade and will continue until June.  The Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, in cooperation with the city’s Cultural Centre (KCB), will host a musical event on a Monday, once a month. The cycle will begin with a piano concert with Kristina Balzic, Petar Toskiv and Milan Dukic on March 13. It will be followed by a concert by the winners of the Davorin Jenko International Competition.

On April 24, the programme will feature ‘Odabrani za odabrane’, an event designed to promote young music talents, to be followed by the concert by pianist Jelena Dajic, co-sponsored by UMUS. On May 29, the programme features pianist Anastasija Stankovic, followed by violinist Mina Aleksic and pianist Jasmina Rakovic. The ‘Concert in the Gallery’ will have its final event on June 19, with the Nikolajevic-Krsic piano duo, followed by baritone Marko Pantelic and pianist Milica Ilic.

Thanks to the cooperation with the KCB, an important cultural hallmark of Belgrade, the Italian Cultural Institute has confirmed itself to be a key promoter of cultural activities and initiatives open to the city and the people of Belgrade. The Institute offers a stage to young talented musicians, winners of national and international competitions, as well as well-known talents. The events are organized in conjunction with the Association of Serbian Musicians (UMUS) and Radio Belgrade 202.
