The Italian Cultural Institute in Lisbon, with a view to promoting the dissemination of the translation of the Italian book, accepted the proposal of the local publishing house Editorial Presença to make a presentation of the Portuguese translation of the book by Federico Rampini ‘L’Età del Caos. Viaggio nel grande disordine mondiale’ (‘The Age of Chaos. A jouney in the great global disorder’) entitled ‘A Era do Caos. Uma viagem pela grande desordem mundial’.
The presentation will take place on Wednesday, 5 April, at the Italian Cultural Institute, where the writer and journalist Federico Rampini will engage in a chat with Nuno Valério, professor of History of Economy and History of Economic Thought at the ISEG-Lisbon School of Economics & Management of the University of Lisbon.
The book ‘L’Età del Caos’ (2015), by Federico Rampini, one of the most renowned contemporary journalists, talks about the global disorder pervading the world from America to China, from Silicon Valley to the metropolis of Beijing, through the stories and analyses of world economic trends in the period between the two millennia. As foreign correspondent for the Italian daily La Repubblica, Rampini has always conveyed a different outlook on global events, which has been very much appreciated by a large number of readers, guiding them through the different contemporary crisis scenarios and chaos situations by exploring the facts and singling out the causes.
