Germany – Books, “The Cyclops” by Paolo Rumiz presented in Germany

The Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Munich hosts the presentation of “Il ciclope” (“The Cyclops”) by Paolo Rumiz. The book will be presented by the author at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, 21 April, at the Italian Cultural Institute on Hermann-Schmid-Straße 8. The chat will be moderated by Andrea Bachstein, a journalist at the Süddeutsche Zeitung, one of Germany’s major daily newspapers. The event is organised by the IIC and Folio Verlag in partnership with Forum Italia e.V. Born in Trieste in 1947, Paolo Rumiz is the most successful Italian travel writer. He has reported on the wars in Afghanistan and Yugoslavia for the Italian daily “La Repubblica”. He has received several awards for his reporting. He has also written numerous essays, novels and short stories on his travels through Italy and across the remotest places in Europe.
