Japan – The ambassador meets with Italian researchers in Japan: “Soon an association”

The Italian ambassador in Tokyo, Giorgio Starace met Italian researchers in Japan. On our Embassy’s Facebook page, a post announced: “Robotics, nuclear physics, biology, ICT and much more besides: we will soon have an association to work even more and even better, together!”. “The scientific cooperation between Italy and Japan is a sector of massive interest to both countries. Italy, in particular, benefits from the high level of specialisation in the Japanese technological sector, which excels internationally,” it states on the Embassy website, in the section on scientific cooperation. The major sectors in which there is cooperation between Italy and Japan  are: basic science (physics and astronomy), life sciences, nano sciences, robotics, space and ICT.
