Remembering the future: Urgent matters in the conservation of art in Indonesia

The Italian Embassy and Cultural Institute in Jakarta organised a workshop entitled: “Remembering the Future: Urgent Matters in the Conservation of Art in Indonesia”. The workshop, curated by Michela Anselmini and moderated by Rizki A. Zaelani, will take place at the auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Jakarta.

Michela Anselmini is an established restorer trained in Italy in the field of art conservation.

The methodologies and supports used by Michela Anselmini include digital documentation, ultraviolet scans, resins, antifungal treatments, cold and hot canvas finishing processes, enzyme or anionic bio-polishing. The results achieved and her professional track record have reaffirmed her reputation in the world of art connoisseurs both in Europe and in Indonesia through an impressive volume of work and connections established during the past twenty years in the field of restoration, conservation and framing.
