The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, met the Chief Executive of the Afghan National Unity Government, Abdullah Abdullah, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Mr Abdullah Abdullah was in Rome for a board meeting of the World Food Programme and for face-to-face meetings.
Minister Moavero Milanesi and Chief Executive Abdullah discussed the most recent developments in the Afghanistan peace process. The Italian Foreign Minister reiterated Italy’s full support for peace and stability in the country.
