The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, went on a diplomatic mission to Ukraine to meet with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmitry Kuleba.
Minister Di Maio reaffirmed Italy’s full support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, in close coordination with its EU partners and NATO allies. At the same time, Minister Di Maio confirmed Italy’s firm support to any negotiating effort, also within the framework of the Minsk Agreements and the Normandy Format, with the aim of preserving stability and achieving a peaceful and lasting settlement of the ongoing dispute.
